Claridge, Kevin

Kevin Claridge is the Director of the Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s Florida Coastal Office. In this position, he oversees the Coastal Management Program, 41 Aquatic Preserves, 3 National Estuarine Research Reserves, Coral Reef Conservation Program, Outer Continental Shelf activities, and co-manages the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary with NOAA. Kevin holds a Graduate Certificate in Public Administration from the University of South Florida, a Master’s Degree from the University of Memphis, and a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of North Carolina at Asheville.

During his tenure with the state of Florida, he has managed state lands and conservation easements across the state, administered Air, Waste, Water Facility, and Environmental Resource Regulatory Programs in Southeast Florida, led large scale mine reclamation efforts in Central Florida, and assisted watershed restoration projects in south Florida.
