Tom Bartlett is the seawater systems manager and staff biologist at Keys Marine Lab. He joined the KML team in 2013 as a graduate of the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, FL with a bachelors of science in biology. During his time at UNF Tom served as a research assistant with Dr. Joe Butler studying populations of diamondback terrapins (malaclemys terrapin) in the Florida Big Bend region, and with Dr. Cliff Ross studying the physiological effect of environmental stressors on coral larvae (porites astreoides) in the Florida Keys. He also worked as the research laboratory manager for the Biology Department at UNF after finishing his degree. Tom enjoys fishing, boating, and cave diving in central Florida.
