Jordan Adams joined FIO June of 2021 and serves as the Senior Marine Cook on the R/V W. T. Hogarth and R/V Weatherbird II. Jordan holds a current Merchant Mariner Credential and is constantly adding to his compendium of skills, knowledge, and certifications in order to better serve in all shipboard capacities.
Jordan’s professional background includes years working in the hospitality industry with a focus in craft beer and scratch cooking. Adams was formerly the head of acquisitions for a niche commercial real estate firm sourcing off-market assets for some of the world’s top brokerages. Jordan’s passion is food; He enjoys the entire culinary process from planning, provisioning, prepping, executing signature dishes, and the cleanup.
Jordan’s formative years were spent in San Diego, CA and nobody would say he is shy about his love and affection for America’s Finest City. Jordan moved to Saint Petersburg in order to work at FIO and is excited about what he brings to the table, quite literally.
