Heather Meneses joined the Florida Institute of Oceanography in May of 2022 and serves as an Assistant Marine Engineer and Marine Operations Coordinator. She has worked in the maritime industry for the past 7 years. Meneses moved to Florida from her home state of Colorado back in 2015. Prior to relocating south, Heather taught Tae Kwon Do and skiing for many years. She is passionate about the outdoors and has found a love for working on the water. Heather is committed to expanding her knowledge, skill set, and credentials within the industry and has thoroughly enjoyed being a part of such a dynamic and ever-evolving field.

Biography

Heather Meneses joined the Florida Institute of Oceanography in May of 2022 and serves as an Assistant Marine Engineer on R/V W. T. Hogarth. She has worked in the maritime industry for the past 7 years.
