Jason joined the KML Team in October 2025 as the Facility Maintenance Supervisor. His experience includes three decades of sustainable property improvements and property management. He has also led corporate departments and locations through significant operational transformations.

Coming to the Keys in 2017 before Hurricane Irma, he began a facility maintenance role which quickly transitioned into Emergency Management and Disaster Recovery for small business owners. Converting to a Professional Contractor, he aided in the rapid reopening of hotels and homes for displaced persons, then continued throughout Florida with assisting small businesses to improve their properties and operations while focusing on disaster mitigation and shoreline resilience. At KML, he leverages his deep background in systems optimization to help ensure the lab’s complex infrastructure maintains peak operational efficiency and resilience.

Jason was raised in a traveling military family then settled in Tampa, FL for 25 years before coming to the Keys. As a high-functioning systems thinker, he is driven by improvement and the application of complex pattern recognition to solve problems both large and small. Motivated by altruistic service, he views effort towards personal and professional growth as increasing his capacity to help others.
